Think you know everything about another culture? Think again.

I grew up learning everything in English I could get my hands on. Thought I knew well enough, until actually went abroad for postgraduate studies. The culture shock was never less of a shock to me.

The thing is, information you get has been filtered many times. It can be even manipulated and you’ll never know.

Your international experience will be first-hand and irreplaceable. It’s especially valuable for business seeking growth in new countries, for example, China.

It pays off, sooner or later

Studying as an international student can cost a lot, compared to studying in home country. What’s worse, the salary bonus of a master degree can’t guarantee short-term payback. So is it worth it? Postgraduate studies abroad are probably not for you, if all you think about is getting money back.
