UNSW’s Juris Doctor is a professional law degree designed for graduates from non-law backgrounds who want to qualify as a lawyer. You’ll build strong foundations in core areas of Australian law while developing legal reasoning, research, advocacy and problem-solving skills through practical, case-based learning. The program supports pathways to legal practice and is delivered as a postgraduate professional qualification in Law.
