The Graduate Diploma of Economics is a one-year full-time program designed for graduates seeking a solid grounding in modern economic analysis. It builds capability in core microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and quantitative methods, and suits students whose careers require economic reasoning. The qualification can also serve as a pathway into more advanced economics study.

Entry requirements
Applicants must have either a Bachelor degree (or international equivalent) with a minimum GPA of 4.0/7.0, or at least 10 years of work experience in an ANZSCO Skill Level 1 role. Applicants must also meet ANU English language requirements. Entry is competitive; meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission and selection may consider GPA-based ranking and other factors.
