Deakin’s Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Midwifery prepares you for professional practice as both a registered nurse and a midwife. You’ll build patient-centred nursing and woman-centred midwifery skills through extensive supervised clinical placements across metropolitan, regional and rural health services. The course is developed with healthcare partners and includes continuous professional experience throughout the degree, supporting readiness for undergraduate nursing and midwifery practice.
