The Master of Teaching (Primary) prepares graduates to teach children aged 5–12 through evidence-based study and extensive, well-supported school placements. Students learn from experienced educators and develop practical classroom skills through a comprehensive placement program in Victoria. The course emphasises understanding and responding to individual learner needs across diverse backgrounds and abilities.

Graduates are prepared for careers as generalist primary school teachers across the full range of primary year levels. Graduates may work in roles supporting student learning and wellbeing, inclusive education, and curriculum and classroom practice across diverse school communities.
