This two-year program at ANU’s Crawford School of Public Policy builds advanced capability in international and development economics. You develop rigorous analytical and quantitative tools to evaluate policy issues across trade, finance, development, and the environment. The degree combines core training in microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics with applied and research project options, preparing you for evidence-based policy work in Economics.

Entry requirements

Entry requires one of: a recognised Bachelor degree (or equivalent) with GPA 5/7; or a Bachelor with GPA 4/7 plus either 3 years relevant professional experience, or a relevant Graduate Certificate (GPA 4/7). Applicants may also qualify via a Graduate Diploma (GPA 4/7), 48 units of postgraduate study (GPA 4/7), or specified GRE General Test minimum scores (including 150 Verbal, 160 Quantitative, 3.5 Analytical Writing).
