关于课程
The Master of Genomics and Health provides advanced training in genomics and related technologies and their current and potential impact on health and medicine. Students build a deep understanding of how genetic and genomic advances are transforming healthcare, including learning to interpret human genome variation. The course offers experiential learning pathways through an internship program and/or a research project to prepare graduates for work at the forefront of genomic medicine.
你可能学到什么
Students develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to understand genomic data and its application in clinical and health contexts. The course builds analytical approaches for interpreting human genome variation through variant curation training and case-based learning of increasing genomic complexity. Graduates are prepared to apply genomic literacy and problem-based reasoning in professional, research, and healthcare environments.
职业成果
Graduates are prepared for a broad range of genomics-related careers across healthcare, research and allied sectors. Potential pathways include variant curation, genomic research, data-focused roles, project management and policy positions connected to genomic medicine. The program is also relevant for roles in education, clinical trials, community and advocacy organisations, and as preparation for further graduate research study.
