This 1.5-year full-time (or part-time equivalent) program develops practical capability in applied data analytics. It combines best-practice methods with contemporary coursework and allows students to deepen expertise through a focus area in computation, statistics, or social science. Delivery is primarily semester-based, with an intensive blended option for domestic students designed to suit working professionals, including a short on-campus intensive component plus online study.

Entry requirements
Applicants need either an Honours Bachelor degree (or equivalent) with a minimum GPA of 5.0/7.0, or a Bachelor degree (or equivalent) with a minimum GPA of 5.0/7.0 plus at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Admission is competitive and applicants must also meet ANU English language requirements. GPA may be calculated using all grades and compared with a calculation excluding the final semester, using the higher result.
