关于课程
The Graduate Certificate of Science draws on postgraduate coursework across the ANU College of Science and Medicine. It is designed primarily as an exit award for students who have completed 24 units of credit toward an approved science-related masters program but cannot complete the full masters degree. Study is in person and consists of advanced coursework selected from approved science discipline areas.
你可能学到什么
Students build advanced capability to analyse, evaluate and transform scientific information, and to generate and communicate solutions to complex science problems. The program develops communication skills for sharing scientific ideas with specialist and non-specialist audiences, alongside professional and social responsibility. Coursework is drawn from approved 6000- and 8000-level science subjects aligned to the student’s discipline focus.
职业成果
Graduates gain recognised postgraduate coursework credit in science disciplines that can support progression into a related masters program or strengthen employability. Skills developed are applicable to roles requiring advanced scientific analysis, problem solving and communication across research, government, industry and technical sectors. Outcomes will vary by the discipline area selected, such as biology, chemistry, earth sciences, physics, or neuroscience.
Entry requirements
This program is an exit award and is not available for direct admission. Entry is via internal program transfer only from an eligible ANU science-related graduate program (e.g., Graduate Diploma of Science or specified Masters programs). To be admitted, students must have completed 24 units of postgraduate coursework drawn from the approved discipline areas listed in the program requirements.
