This five-year Joint Medical Program combines a Bachelor of Medical Science (years 1–3) with a Doctor of Medicine (years 4–5), delivered with the University of New England and local health districts. You’ll build strong foundations in biomedical science and patient-centred clinical methods, with early clinical placements and modern learning technologies. Electives include areas such as rural and global health, Indigenous health and laboratory medicine in this undergraduate Medicine program.

Graduates typically complete an approved internship as a Junior Medical Officer before entering medical practice. After internship, many pursue specialist training over several additional years.
