This degree focuses on applying science, technology and business to address sustainability challenges in agriculture and food production. Students study the scientific basis of producing safe, high-quality and ethical food and fibre, alongside the economics that underpin Australia’s agricultural trade. Learning is supported by practical lab and field experiences, with an option to gain hands-on exposure at the University’s agricultural research and teaching campus at Dookie.
