The Master of Social Work (Qualifying) prepares graduates for generalist social work practice with a strong focus on social justice, human rights and culturally responsive, ethical support. You will build core knowledge, skills and values for work across community, health and human services settings, with themes of decolonising practice, sustainability and collaboration. The degree includes at least 1,000 hours of supervised field education placement as a Master-level qualifying social work programme.

Career paths commonly include practice in community organisations, health and hospital services, government and non-government human services, child and family support, mental health and advocacy work.
