The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Law is an internationally recognised masters by research degree focused on developing advanced capability in independent and sustained legal research. Students undertake a substantial original research project under academic supervision and produce a thesis that demonstrates critical application of specialist knowledge and contributes to scholarship. The thesis is externally examined by internationally recognised experts in the relevant research field.

Students will develop high-level skills in critical analysis, scholarly writing and the rigorous application of specialist legal knowledge to a defined research problem.
