The Master of Counselling at Victoria University builds advanced understanding of counselling theory and practice, with experience across adult, child and adolescent counselling. You will study counselling and psychological theory, evidence-based interventions and therapies, and develop practical capability through industry-based learning and placement. The course also covers ethics, common presenting issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and addiction, and includes a practice-based minor thesis in counselling at master coursework level.
