This one-year honours program builds on prior undergraduate psychology studies and develops advanced, pre-professional capabilities. You’ll strengthen skills such as interviewing and counselling, culturally responsive and ethical practice, and foundational assessment and psychometric concepts. With academic supervision, you complete a substantial psychology research project to deepen methodology and data analysis expertise, supporting progression toward accredited fifth-year study and future psychologist pathways.

Graduates are prepared for further accredited training required for psychology registration pathways in Australia, including progression to fifth-year accredited study within the 5+1 pathway.
