Bond’s Diploma of Legal Studies provides an introduction to Australia’s legal system, fundamental legal principles and core legal skills. Designed as a supported transition to university study, it offers flexible study loads and can be completed full-time in as little as eight months. The diploma provides a direct pathway into Bond’s Bachelor of Laws and related law degrees, with small-class teaching and academic skills support as a Diploma in Law pathway. The programme introduces legal documentation, office procedures, and foundational legal knowledge for support roles.

Graduates gain foundational legal knowledge and practical skills applicable across roles where legal awareness is valued. The diploma supports pathways into further law study at Bond, and can also assist entry into areas such as legal and business administration, compliance-related work, and public sector administration. Preparing graduates for legal clerk, paralegal support, and compliance assistant roles, or degree articulation.
