Build on your experience as a Registered Nurse and transition to midwifery through JCU’s ANMAC-accredited Graduate Diploma of Midwifery. The program is delivered online in a multi-modal format and develops the theoretical knowledge and clinical capability needed to provide evidence-based, woman-centred care, including in rural and remote settings. This is a postgraduate Graduate Diploma in Nursing. The programme develops advanced clinical reasoning, health leadership, and evidence-based practice for complex care environments.

Graduates are prepared to work as a midwife in a range of maternity care settings, supporting women and families across pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
