The Bachelor of Midwifery prepares students for entry to professional midwifery practice, focusing on safe, woman-centred care aligned with Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council standards. Study covers anatomy and physiology, midwifery theory and practice, primary healthcare, perinatal mental health, and care across preconception, pregnancy, labour, birth and early parenting. Graduates can apply for AHPRA registration to practise as a Registered Midwife.

Career pathways include roles in hospital maternity services and broader community and primary healthcare contexts as a bachelor-qualified midwife.
