Students develop capabilities to design, construct and assure high-quality software systems using modern engineering and systems approaches. Learning emphasises software construction, requirements and design, databases, algorithms, quality and process management, human-computer interaction, and professional practice. Entry is based on an ANU admission rank. The published indicative requirements include an ATAR of 85 or an IB score of 33 (or equivalent). Applicants may also be eligible for adjustment factors, and must meet any listed prerequisites for the program. Selection is competitive and requirements can vary depending on applicant background and pathway.
