The Master of Psychology (Clinical Neuropsychology) focuses on how diseases of the central nervous system, particularly those affecting the brain, influence emotion, behaviour and cognition in adults and children. Students learn from experts active in the field and undertake extensive supervised clinical placements across diverse services such as neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, geriatrics, rehabilitation and paediatrics. The program is designed to develop advanced psychological knowledge alongside research and inquiry skills relevant to clinical neuropsychology practice.

Students develop specialist knowledge of brain–behaviour relationships and the affective, behavioural and cognitive manifestations of neurological conditions across the lifespan. The qualification supports eligibility for generalist psychologist registration in Australia and entry into the PsyBA-approved registrar program in clinical neuropsychology.
