The Bachelor of Laws at The University of Notre Dame Australia provides a rigorous foundation in legal theory, ethics and professional practice. Designed with input from senior legal practitioners, the program develops core skills in legal research, writing, advocacy, negotiation and statutory interpretation. Students gain practical exposure through clinics, mentoring, mooting, courtroom experiences and internships, including use of the Justice Owen Moot Court. This is an undergraduate law qualification.

Graduates are prepared for a range of law and justice careers, supported by practical training and professional engagement throughout the degree. Pathways commonly include legal practice (subject to relevant professional admission requirements), work in government and regulatory agencies, courts and tribunals, compliance and corporate governance, community and not-for-profit legal services, and policy or advocacy roles.
