The Continence and Pelvic Health major is studied within Curtin’s Master of Clinical Physiotherapy. It develops advanced pelvic health physiotherapy expertise, strengthening evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning, and diagnostic and therapeutic skills. You’ll build capabilities to assess and manage male and female pelvic floor dysfunction and related conditions, and develop competence in evaluating and conducting clinical research in this emerging physiotherapy area.
职业成果
Graduates may work as continence and pelvic health physiotherapists in private practice and/or public hospitals, supporting men, women and children. Opportunities often involve multidisciplinary teams across urology, gynaecology, oncology, general surgery, sexual health, pain medicine and gerontology. Roles may also extend to health promotion, research, teaching and clinical tutoring, with pathways into flexible private practice, hospital or community-based physiotherapy positions.
