This nationally recognised Certificate III supports maritime engineering career entry and contributes toward requirements in Marine Order 505 for applying for an AMSA Certificate of Competency as a Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 Near Coastal. You’ll build practical capability to operate and maintain machinery and equipment on larger vessels, with training aligned to near-coastal operations. This is a Certificate III qualification in maritime operations. The programme emphasises applied skills, workplace readiness, and technical competency for industry entry.
