关于课程
This Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control prepares apprentices to work with industrial measurement and control systems. You’ll develop trade skills to select, install, test, fault-find and maintain instrumentation used to measure physical and chemical processes across industrial sites. Delivery is largely workplace-based with scheduled block training, supporting competency development through on-the-job experience in the electrotechnology discipline. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.
职业成果
Graduates can pursue technician and trade roles supporting instrumentation and control across utilities and heavy industry. Work settings commonly include oil and gas, manufacturing, industrial processing, mining, coal, food production and scientific facilities. Typical job outcomes include instrumentation fitter (including hazardous areas pathways) and electrical/instrumentation tradesperson roles, with options to progress into dual-trade electrical instrumentation or further study at Certificate IV or Diploma level.
