The Bachelor of Social Science (Public Health) develops your ability to analyse social issues and health-related challenges, drawing on interdisciplinary perspectives across society, policy and community contexts. You’ll build practical skills in understanding diverse populations, designing responses to complex problems and evaluating social impacts. This on-campus undergraduate degree at UOW is designed for broad social science careers with a public health focus. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.

Graduates may pursue roles across community, government and non-profit settings where social policy and health intersect. Potential pathways include advocacy, community and social services, policy analysis and evaluation, social policy development, health care management and policy, market research, and community development in local or international contexts.
