Grounded in a multidisciplinary approach, this degree explores contemporary agricultural science and practice with a focus on regenerative and environmentally sustainable agriculture. Based at the historic Hawkesbury campus, you’ll use facilities such as the University Farm and learn through hands-on work in plant breeding, greenhouse technology, biotechnology, soil and water management, and satellite/drone data for decision support. This is a Bachelor-level program in agricultural science.

Graduates can pursue careers across agricultural and horticultural industries, research and technology adoption, supporting sustainable and regenerative production systems. Roles may include agronomist, plant breeder, horticulturalist, animal nutritionist, agribusiness professional, farmland analyst, operational or regional development manager, consultant, and biosecurity (fisheries/quarantine) officer. The degree can also support pathways into teaching or science communication. This is a Bachelor qualification for agricultural science careers.
