This double degree combines psychological science and law to build insight into human behaviour alongside legal knowledge and skills. You’ll study behavioural and mental processes while completing an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) sequence, and meet academic requirements recognised for admission to legal practice in several Australian states. The Bachelor-level program supports pathways to honours in law for high achievers. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.

Graduates can pursue diverse roles across legal, government, community and research settings. Career options may include solicitor or barrister (subject to admission requirements), legal officer or in-house counsel, policy writer, criminology or health research roles, and human resources or training consultancy. The Bachelor double degree also provides an academic foundation for psychology pathways, with further study required to qualify as a psychologist.
