This degree prepares you for a career as an occupational therapist, helping people of all ages and abilities participate in everyday activities at home, work, school and in the community. You’ll learn to assess needs and adapt environments, tasks and equipment, building practical skills in modern facilities and through professional placements. The Bachelor of Occupational Therapy is an undergraduate pathway into diverse allied health settings. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.

Graduates may work as occupational therapists across hospitals, rehabilitation services, community health, disability and aged-care providers, schools and private practice. Roles can include supporting people with injury or chronic conditions, assisting clients to build independence in daily living, and contributing to inclusive environments through equipment prescription and home or workplace modifications. The Bachelor of Occupational Therapy supports entry to professional practice in occupational therapy.
