The Bachelor of Arts Honours at Charles Darwin University introduces students to independent research through core research-focused units. You’ll build strong foundations in research methods and ethics, develop professional research practices, and learn to present scholarly work clearly. Working closely with a supervisor, you design a bespoke thesis, industry project or sustained creative work aligned with your interests, building advanced discipline expertise. Graduates of CDU’s Bachelor of Arts Honours can apply advanced research, analysis and communication skills across many sectors, depending on their discipline focus. Potential pathways include roles in business, community services, education, government and civil service, international relations, media, museums and cultural or historical institutions, and not-for-profit policy work. The course also supports progression to further study and research in arts and humanities. Preparing graduates for graduate employment, professional traineeships, and further postgraduate study.
