This flexible double-degree program lets you combine two ANU bachelor degrees to match career goals and personal interests. In this group, you pair either the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) – Science or the Bachelor of Science (Advanced) (Honours) with one additional degree from a wide list across arts, social sciences, business and science, enabling either deep science specialisation or broader interdisciplinary study.

You will develop strong scientific and analytical capability through either the PhB (Honours) – Science or BSc (Advanced) (Honours), while building complementary knowledge from a second bachelor degree. The structure supports interdisciplinary thinking, research-informed learning and advanced problem solving. Planning tools help you integrate requirements across both degrees and leave room for further study options such as honours in the second degree.

Graduates gain a broad double-qualification suited to diverse pathways depending on the chosen degree pairing. Outcomes can include roles in research and science-led industries, data and technology, business and finance, economics and public policy, international relations and security, environment and sustainability, or creative and cultural sectors. The combined training supports progression to honours or further postgraduate study in specialised fields.
Entry requirements
Applicants must meet ANU program-specific academic and any non-academic requirements plus English language requirements. Admission is competitive and meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee an offer. Assessment may consider academic results/selection rank (ATAR or equivalent), prior higher education or VET study, or approved work and life experience pathways, alongside English proficiency and any additional program prerequisites for the chosen degrees.
