This professional honours course builds advanced capability in conservation management for protected areas, responding to complex challenges such as climate change and bushfire risk. You’ll develop practical governance, planning and management skills using case-based learning and applied analysis, including mapped data. Study is supported by access to diverse Tasmanian environments near the Hobart campus. This is a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in environmental conservation management.

Career pathways may include conservation manager, protected area or park officer, environmental planner, natural resource management adviser, biodiversity or restoration coordinator, and policy/project roles in government agencies, NGOs and consultancies.
