This free online short course explores the science of climate change, its drivers, impacts and responses, and how these connect to society, ecosystems and decision-making. Guided by University of Tasmania experts across climate science, ecology and social sciences, you will build a big-picture understanding and practical capability to make climate-smart choices and support action in your community. A digital badge is awarded on completion. The programme develops scientific knowledge and analytical skills aligned with its qualification level and industry expectations.

Optional quizzes let you check understanding, and achieving 80% or higher across quizzes makes you eligible to purchase a digital certificate.
