The Master of Management is a one-year postgraduate degree from ANU’s Research School of Management designed for graduates and professionals in cognate fields. It develops evidence-based decision-making, innovative problem solving, and responsible leadership. Students can study broad management or complete a focused specialisation, and may apply for industry placement opportunities through the CBE Internship courses to gain practical experience and professional networks.

Graduates are prepared for management and leadership roles across private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Skills in evidence-based decision-making, global management, strategy, organisational behaviour and change support careers such as project manager, business analyst, management consultant, marketing or digital transformation specialist, international business roles, and emerging leadership positions. Internship options can strengthen employability through applied workplace experience and industry connections.
Entry requirements
Applicants must meet ANU academic/non-academic and English language requirements. Entry is competitive. Typical pathways include a bachelor degree in a cognate discipline with GPA 5.0/7.0; or GPA 4.0/7.0 with 3 years relevant ANZSCO Skill Level 1 experience. Other options include honours (GPA 4.0/7.0), graduate certificate/diploma (GPA 4.0/7.0), prior postgraduate study, or GMAT 550/GRE 155+155+4.0 with extensive experience.
