This course is designed for qualified teachers who wish to develop specialist knowledge and skills in inclusive practices in classrooms and schools. All units of study within this course will develop your understanding of the human rights basis for inclusive education as well as the legislative obligations that govern the education of students with disability. You will learn to apply contemporary frameworks such as the Multi-Tiered System of Supports, integrating Response to Intervention and Positive Behaviour Interventions and Supports, and to use the principles of Universal Design.
