The Diploma in Sports Management is a one-year, in-person program delivered at Alberton and Adelaide Oval in partnership with Port Adelaide Football Club. You’ll build foundations in the business of sport, including community engagement, sports marketing and event management, supported by over 100 hours of practical, behind-the-scenes experience and networking. The diploma can also provide a pathway to further study at Flinders in sport and business. The programme introduces business operations, customer service, and administrative leadership for commercial workplaces.

This diploma can lead to entry-level roles across the sport industry, including clubs, governing bodies, venues, events and community sport programs. Graduates may work in membership and fan engagement, partnerships and sponsorship support, sport marketing coordination, community program delivery and commercial administration. The qualification is designed to combine academic foundations with work-ready experience for a Diploma-level start in sports management. Preparing graduates for supervisory, administration, and business support roles, or degree articulation.
Entry requirements
Guaranteed entry ATAR 60.00 (or STAT 150.0, GPA 4.0, or TAFE/VET Certificate IV or above).
