This entry-level qualification introduces pathology laboratory work and supports a start in the health sector. You’ll build foundation knowledge and practical skills to receive, prepare and dispatch specimens, prepare culture media and assist with basic tests. Learning is guided by industry-experienced teachers and designed to help you transition into a lab environment. This is a Certificate III qualification in health sciences. The programme builds patient care fundamentals, clinical assistance skills, and health workplace practice.
