This graduate certificate is designed for people working, or planning to work, with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. You’ll explore the cultural diversity and lived realities of Indigenous Australians and examine cultural, social, economic and political issues through an Indigenous perspective. Units are grounded in social justice and Indigenous critical theory, supporting culturally informed professional practice in Indigenous Australian Cultural Studies.

You’ll develop skills to work with Indigenous peoples in culturally appropriate ways, applying cultural protocols and Indigenous cultural competencies.
