This honours degree provides comprehensive professional training in speech pathology, focusing on assessing and treating communication and swallowing difficulties across the lifespan. You’ll build strong foundations in linguistics, psychology, bioscience and health sciences, and complete substantial supervised clinical placement experience. The program is designed to develop work-ready, accredited expertise for practice in diverse healthcare and community settings in speech pathology at bachelor (honours) level.

Graduates are prepared for accredited practice across a wide range of speech pathology services, supporting children and adults with speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication and swallowing needs. Career pathways commonly include roles as a Speech Pathologist in health, disability, education and community organisations, as well as health promotion and research-focused positions.
