CDU’s Bachelor of Health Science builds broad, multidisciplinary skills for work across the health sector, responding to gaps in Australia’s healthcare system. You’ll study health and wellbeing, health promotion, public health, plus policy and research, supported by strong industry connections. The degree features community engagement and a practical community project, and can provide a pathway to further master’s study in allied health or public health fields. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.

Graduates may pursue roles across health promotion, public health, health policy, research support, project coordination and health services management in government, community and health organisations. The course emphasises applied community-focused experience and multidisciplinary practice, helping you contribute to health improvement in local, rural and remote settings. This bachelor degree can also support progression to master’s study toward allied health professions.
