The Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics prepares you to improve health through evidence-based nutrition care. You’ll build skills to interpret nutrition science and translate it into practical advice for individuals and communities. Studying in an allied health environment, you’ll learn alongside other health disciplines to develop interprofessional and collaborative practice capabilities, supported by a long-standing nutrition and dietetics education tradition at Flinders.

Graduates can pursue nutrition and dietetics careers supporting people of all ages through evidence-based care. Employment opportunities span hospitals and clinical services, community health organisations, aged care, disability services, private practice and population health. The degree builds capability to work in multidisciplinary teams and deliver nutrition education and interventions that promote health and wellbeing, leading to practice as a dietitian in a range of health and community settings.
