This double degree combines nursing preparation with a public health perspective, building skills to support individual care as well as population health. You’ll study core nursing practice alongside topics such as health systems, epidemiology, health promotion, and equity in health. Delivery is based at Kelvin Grove with some units available online. This is an undergraduate program in Nursing and Public Health. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.

Graduates can pursue nursing roles across hospitals, community and primary care, aged care, and mental health settings, supported by broad clinical and professional practice foundations. The public health component also prepares you for roles in health promotion, program coordination, policy and planning support, and community health initiatives in government and non-profit sectors. This is an undergraduate pathway in Nursing and Public Health. Preparing graduates for nursing, allied health, and community care professional registration and graduate roles.
