This honours year at WAAPA is designed for outstanding music students seeking to extend advanced performance and professional practice while gaining an introduction to research. You’ll refine your artistry with guidance from experienced scholar-performers across the music industry and can pursue specialisations such as performance, composition, screen composition, music technology or musicology. This is an AQF Level 8 Bachelor Honours Degree in music. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.

The course supports pathways into professional performance and related industry work across contemporary, jazz and classical contexts, as well as composition, screen music and music technology roles.
