关于课程
This double-degree major combines mechatronic engineering and computer science to develop capability in designing smarter products, devices and processes. You’ll learn how integrated mechanical, electronic and control systems work alongside software and computing approaches to solve complex problems. The first year includes Curtin’s Engineering Foundation Year to build core engineering fundamentals and industry-relevant practice for undergraduate engineering and computing study. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.
职业成果
Graduates are prepared for roles at the intersection of robotics, automation and software, supporting technology-led industries. Mechatronic pathways span mining, resources, remote operations, logistics, security and defence, where engineers develop and maintain intelligent systems and equipment. The computing component supports careers such as programmer, analyst, IT administrator or games developer, applying software skills to complex engineering and operational environments in an undergraduate double degree.
