The Bachelor of International Studies builds advanced language capability alongside a deep understanding of global issues through relevant social science perspectives. You’ll complete core studies plus a language major and an international studies major, and undertake a compulsory overseas exchange semester. The program develops cross-cultural communication and international awareness within an undergraduate international studies and language pathway. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.

Graduates can pursue internationally focused roles where language skills and cross-cultural capability are valued, including government and diplomacy support, international development, global business and trade, NGOs, media and communications, and community or cultural organisations.
