This Chinese double degree major develops language proficiency and cultural competence for China-related work in Australia or overseas. You’ll build high-level literacy across listening, speaking, reading and writing while deepening your understanding of Chinese culture and society. The major accommodates beginners through to advanced and native-speaker pathways within an undergraduate double degree in languages and commerce/arts. The programme develops classroom practice, curriculum knowledge, and educational psychology for teaching professions.
职业成果
Graduates can pursue roles that use Chinese language skills and intercultural capability across government, business and community settings. Typical pathways include foreign affairs and trade or public service roles, research support positions, interpreting/translation, and tourism information or guiding. With further training, graduates may also move into education-related roles such as English as a Second Language teaching in international contexts. Preparing graduates for teaching, education support, and learning development roles in schools and colleges.
