关于课程
Chemical Engineering focuses on designing and optimising physical, chemical and biological processes that convert raw materials into valuable products safely and economically at scale. You’ll explore applications across minerals and energy, hydrogen and battery technologies, advanced materials, pharmaceuticals and consumer products such as food, water and paper. The major also offers flexibility to add specialisations within or beyond chemical engineering in a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours).
职业成果
Graduates can work in industries tackling sustainability, decarbonisation, water and energy-transition challenges through process and production improvement. Typical roles include chemical engineer, process engineer, production/operations engineer, and risk and safety manager. Employment spans minerals and energy, biotechnology, agrochemicals, food and materials processing, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals and polymers, cement and lime, paper manufacturing, semiconductors, and water and wastewater treatment for an undergraduate chemical engineering pathway.
