ECU’s Bachelor of Arts helps you explore your interests while building skills to engage with complex social issues. You can choose one or two majors and take part in work-integrated and community-based learning to understand local and global communities. The course develops analytical thinking, research capability and strong communication for future social and community leadership as a Bachelor degree in Arts & Humanities. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.

Graduates can pursue versatile roles across sectors where communication, analysis and community insight are valued. Career pathways may include work in media and communications, government and policy, community and not-for-profit organisations, advocacy and program support roles. The degree supports broad employability and further study, providing a foundation for careers that draw on Arts & Humanities skills at Bachelor level. Preparing graduates for graduate employment, professional traineeships, and further postgraduate study.
