This course blends architectural design with cultural, social, technical and sustainability considerations of the built environment. You’ll study how people occupy space and how natural and constructed environments shape architectural proposals. The major is designed as a direct pathway into Curtin’s accredited Master of Architecture, supporting progression toward professional practice in architecture and the built environment at bachelor level. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.

Graduates can work across design and construction roles that support architectural projects, including building consultancy and drafting.
