Designed for graduates from non-accounting disciplines, the Master of Professional Accounting builds advanced technical and professional skills for a career change into accounting. You’ll develop capability across financial and management accounting, auditing, taxation, law, economics and information systems, supported by practical quantitative and critical-thinking skills. The course also embeds Microsoft Excel certification and provides a pathway toward chartered accounting preparation at master’s level in accounting.

Graduates can pursue roles across core accounting and finance functions in private and public sectors. Typical pathways include financial and management accounting, taxation, auditing and public sector accounting, as well as investment and business analysis and stockbroking-related work. The degree is structured to support professional progression into senior finance and management positions, providing master’s-level preparation for careers in professional accounting and related finance fields.
