UOW College’s Foundation Studies (2 Sessions) (Stream 3) is a pathway program for international students who don’t yet meet direct entry for a UOW bachelor degree. Across two 14‑week sessions, you build core academic capabilities such as time management, essay writing, teamwork and presentations, and learn the expectations of university study. It provides a supported route toward first-year entry into eligible UOW degrees. The programme builds core academic English, study skills, and subject fundamentals for university degree entry.

This foundation program is designed to prepare you for progression into undergraduate study at the University of Wollongong rather than direct employment. Graduates typically use the skills gained—academic writing, communication, collaboration, research and study planning—to transition into first-year bachelor programs and pursue careers aligned with their chosen degree area.
